Apparently reccing fics is what I do these days. To be fair, there are so many exchanges and challenges posting/revealing right now, it's kind of hard not to shove links in people's faces, you know? So whatever, I'm sure none of you are actually complaining.

I Saw Three Ships (the threesomes/moresomes anon exchange on DW) posted late Sunday night! The mystery writer who had me wrote an empty hourglass in the sand (Natasha/Coulson/Clint), and it's very pretty. Reveals are going up on the 13th, but if you've spent any time around me, or if you've read my f-locked entries over the last few weeks, I think the one I wrote is pretty obvious. >.> ANYWAY, another 3 Ships fic I really enjoyed was Heard You Fuck through the Wall (Lydia/Peter/Stiles). It's WEIRD and DARK and totally awesome, and I really love the author's style.

I made some other recommendations on Twitter yesterday. There are two Steve/Peggy/Bucky fics that I am 99% sure will interest some people 'round these parts. There's a bunch of other Avengers moresomes - Clint/Darcy/Steve, Tony/Bruce/Pepper/Betty, Luke/Jessica/Danny/Misty, to name a few - and some Doctor Who, Leverage, Sherlock Holmes, Stargate SG-1, Haven, and Luther as well. I haven't read any of these, but I make good mention in case you're interested, friends. It's worth a look-through if you're hard up for fic at the moment.

In other news, I watched a show about colossal squids last night. It freaked me out a bit - apparently squid eyes scare the fuck out of me! who knew! But not as much as the next episode I watched, which was about humboldt squids expanding their territory for no discernible reason and being pack-hunters and how they're going to eventually rise up out of the ocean and eat all of us.

Remind me never to watch nature shows about squids ever again. :(

Felt gross and yucky all morning. But I managed to get out of bed and do stuff this afternoon, so I'm calling today a win. Now I just need to fold and put my clothes away so I can actually, you know, sleep on my bed.

So Teen Wolf fandom has been really bad for me in that I've started following works in progress because a lot of the longer, really good fics are still being updated and also I have no impulse control. I KNOW, OKAY? It's awful. I can't believe it's come down to this. But whatever, some of them are just wonderful, and a decent amount are updated regularly, so.

The thing that makes this somewhat less stressful and annoying is being able to subscribe to fics and series on AO3. It's actually kind of exciting for me - I tend to forget what happens in most stories between me reading and them updating, so it's like I get to fall in love all over again every time I get an email reminder? Shut up. ANYWAY, I was going to make a rec list for this fandom anyway, and I'm going to include the works in progress I feel are worth following. I'll note them as such, of course. Fair warning.

In its defense, I've had it for almost 3 years now and it was SUPER cheap when I bought it, so. Oh well. Maybe I'll spring for one of slightly better quality this time around.
-Since it's National Poetry Month, I decided to post a poem every day on tumblr like I did last year. April 1 was Hug O'War (Shel Silverstein), April 2 was Archaeology (Vona Groarke), and April 3 (today) was Autumn Tune (Carol Frost).
-After work this Friday, I'm heading down to CT to meet baby Evan! SO EXCITED, YOU GUYS. Am spending the whole weekend with them, too. It'll be nice and low-key, methinks.
-Need to get back into my writing projects, like yesterday. /o\
-Baby blanket number 2 is coming along, though. \o/
-Finished reading From Westminster With Love this morning. I was giggling SO MUCH, you guys. I love fics where Charles is a ridiculous flirt and Erik's life is the hardest as a result, okay? Also it was really well-written!

GUYS! Back to the things about Suits that I really like!

So Closer, who has written some stories that I've enjoyed recently, wrote a meta fic wherein Harvey is secretly a BNF in the Star Trek fandom, and Mike muscles in from White Collar to get in on that shit. 5U175, guys. Seriously. I LOL'ed and made a lot of flappy hands and ridiculous giggles. It has a lot of awesome lines, too ("Fandom ruins everything. Even threesomes." / "Fandom suffers a devastating shortage of grownup pants." for example), and basically is all around completely true in addition to being hilarious and awesome. I highly recommend it.

...I am trying not to give away all of the awesome parts, but just know: at one point, Harvey cosplays as Tony Stark. THAT IS ALL.
