Okay, so, I don't actually know how to express all of my thoughts about, feelings for, and opinions regarding Iron Man 3 in a way that doesn't involve flopping about on the ground like a fish out of water, so I'll just say: it was excellent. I'm THRILLED, and I want to see it a million more times. Personally I think it's the best of the three, and despite the rumors (completely unconfirmed, as far as I know) of more Iron Man movies coming our way, I...wish they would leave it here. Not that there isn't the possibility of future one topping this, but - this is a good place, you know?

Anyway. That's where I'm at today.
brilligspoons: (agkh!)
So it's an established fact that the best thing we've ever done around here is hire Kyleigh, but in case you'd forgotten how awesome she is, this happened this morning:

Cut for pic size )

In related news, Kait and I are going to see Iron Man 3 tonight! Catch you on the flip side.
brilligspoons: (black cat)
Hey, internet. So Monday's bombing happened, and it was terrifying, and then today was spent in lockdown, which was also terrifying. But the good news is they caught the second suspect and, fingers crossed, that will be the end of that. Also I'm 98% certain the trouble I've had breathing all day is because of my allergies.

Anyway. I'm having [livejournal.com profile] paper_tzipporah and [livejournal.com profile] metonymy over tomorrow afternoon to watch North & South, and it'll be good to have hangouts. I may beg hugs from them. WHO KNOWS.

Now it's time to pass the fuck out. <3
brilligspoons: (evolution!)
This week in Television I Devoured: The Almighty Johnsons.

I totally admit I started watching it because my Dean O'Gorman problem reached the level previously occupied mostly by Holland Roden and Dylan O'Brien (so, like, the epically attached to his face level - but I'm trying to play this one cool, hush), but the rest of the characters hooked me by the end of the first episode. Also, I'm deliriously happy that they're filming series three right now, because I watched the series two finale this afternoon, and MAN. There may have been some sniffling and flaily NO NO NO NOT GOOD hands from me, is all I'm saying.

(I'm still processing the whole thing, otherwise I'd have more thoughts for you. I will say one thing: if series three could be all about the goddesses lounging around the apartment above the bar, drinking together and giggling a lot, I would be a very happy Retbot. Dawn can come too, because she's great and I love her the MOST, and she needs a vacation from Anders.)

(No but really, I have a lot of feelings for and about Dawn. She is my favorite.)

Anyway, that's sort of my life right now, besides writing and work and occasionally having epiphanies about Teen Wolf.

Here, have some pictures of my niece and nephews to make up for my boringness. )
brilligspoons: (needs to be least 3 times bigger)
Normally the first day back to work after vacation is terrible, but today is terrible magnified 1000 times. I'm pleased that things seem to have gone smoothly while I was gone, and it's relieving to know that most people managed to do what I needed them to without a lot of problems, but it's those few who just can't get their shit together no matter what that are bugging the shit out of me. Just do what I tell you! Don't argue with me! Those are the rules!

Ugh.

Anyway, vacation was mostly great. The kids were well-behaved 99% of the time, the museum was awesome (except for the panic attack I had), and the private suite we had at Yankee Stadium spoiled me for everything ever. Also we went for manicures on Saturday, and my nails are all glittery and wonderful.

I worked on my big bang a little by repurposing a piece of a Teen Wolf story I'd started last summer and never did anything with. I was bummed that it was just sitting in my gdocs gathering dust, so I'm happy that it was easily editable and fits with what I want to write. Still need to outline the rest of the story, but it's nice to have a beginning at least, you know? (Of course, everything I write now will be jossed by the start of season 3 in a few weeks, but whatever, it can be AU as of season 2, it's cool.)

Uh, I also started watching Vikings. I didn't expect to like it quite so much, but it's pretty great, and I want all of the fic for it immediately. I even wrote a little fluffy thing last night for [livejournal.com profile] pearl_o. :D? And there's another story I have in the works as of this past Thursday. Most of you probably don't care. )

...that may end up being longer than a ficlet. Balls. But yeah, that's a thing.

I suppose I should get back to work now. Hmph.
brilligspoons: (time-traveling nazis)
IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING HOW READY TO BE ON VACATION I AM

SPOILER

IF YOU GUESSED "VERY READY"

YOU ARE CORRECT

Like, I've gone over everything with Kyleigh and emailed all the people who will have to deal with shit while I'm gone, and I still have to get all the way to 2:45 tomorrow. PLUS the person who does all the checking on my reports every month hasn't said anything to me about them since I told her they were ready (Monday!), and if she waits until tomorrow to do this, I...am going to be SO CROSS with her. But I will also make her edit everything because VACATION.

I really should have taken tomorrow off.

Anyway. The Museum of Natural History has a special exhibit on whales (!!!) going on right now, so I am now 1000% more excited about taking Bella and Gavin there next week. I don't even care if they don't give a shit about whales. I'll make up for it by taking them to the space show, or something. Regardless, the trip should be sufficiently nerdy and ~*educational*~ and satisfy Julia's request that we don't just sit around the house all week.

Mom and Dad are going up to CT for Easter, so Cathy and I are off the hook for that morning. We've decided to celebrate by eating all the pancakes Hoboken has to offer and making sure our aunt's old champagne glasses still work by drinking all the mimosas (for science). We feel like this is the best possible way for us to spend our not-holiday.

In conclusion:

Evan. )
brilligspoons: (fuck)
Yet another 2-hour delay this morning. I'm really over the winter months and weather, friends. In other news, there's no one in the office today, so I've amused myself this afternoon by writing crackfic for [livejournal.com profile] paper_tzipporah.

An email from [livejournal.com profile] paper_tzipporah:
I always think of Richard Armitage as R. Armitage in my head, but, you know, it sounds like RAWRmitage, and [this tshirt]

I feel like I should apologize for my brain, or something

please write me fic where Rarmitage is a dinosaur and gets cuddles.

...so I did.

Paris needed a new coat of paint anyway. )

I mean. At least I wrote something.
brilligspoons: (i hate everyone)
Work had a 2-hour delayed opening this morning, which is not what I was hoping would happen. I mean. I made it in safely and all that, but my bed was SUPER WARM and SUPER COMFORTABLE this morning, and it's snowing REALLY HARD still. :\ :\ :\

I continue to be exhausted and am also running low on patience and good will. This week has been especially stressful because of the mouse that invaded our apartment. Like, I tend to think of myself as mostly able to deal with various household pests (uh, by virtue of not having my dad around to make them go away anymore), but I've lost my shit so many time in the last few days, it's ridiculous. I hate it, the end.

But there have been some positives, too.

+I claimed a mix for [livejournal.com profile] bigbang_mixup, and it's excellent. I think I have the bare bones of an idea for what I want to write, so now it's just a matter of typing up some thoughts and making sure my mixer is cool with everything.

+Doug talked me into buying a blu-ray player. Well. The conversation basically went:

Me: I pre-ordered The Hobbit!
Doug: On blu-ray, right?
Me: No, I don't have a player.
Doug: You should get one of those.
Me: ...I do have that Amazon gift card.

And so on and so forth. The one I bought connects to our wireless, too, so we can watch Netflix in the living room now. :D

+Richard Armitage, Andy Serkis, and James Nesbitt answered fan questions on Twitter on Wednesday. Just. *flail* Adorable!

+I managed to complete and post a story on Sunday. \o/ It was a Hobbit RPF kink meme fill, and I'm debating whether or not to de-anon. Not like I haven't posted RPF before, etc.

+Three more weeks until vacation. I can totally do this.

In conclusion, kitty snuggles:

brilligspoons: (steve/tony)
I'm exhausted from having to be a fully-functional employee who does what she's supposed to do and have had to email two too many VPs/AVPs about Things I've Been Neglecting, so HEY, a meme! Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] pocky_slash, who stole it from someone else, who stole it from tumblr:

Let's play this game where you guess my favourite tropes and fictional character types.

Taking up residence underneath my desk, brb.
brilligspoons: (h50 team)
So I've had a couple months' worth of Elementary and H50 episodes on the DVR for a while now, and since we're snowed in, I decided to use the weekend to get through as many of them as I could. I'm finally up-to-date on Elementary (JOOOOOAAAANNNNN, guys, my emotions), and I started in on H50 this evening. I think I've still got five or six episodes before I'm caught up, but I just need to flail about S3E10, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE EPISODE I MUST HAVE WILLED INTO EXISTENCE.

GUYS. DANNY AND STEVE GO ON A CAMPING TRIP WITH GRACE'S GIRL SCOUT TROOP. STEVE WANTS TO TEACH THE GIRLS ABOUT THE KILL ZONE AND HOW TO THROW KNIVES. DANNY APOLOGIZES TO THE TROOP LEADER FOR STEVE BEING STEVE. AT THE END GRACE GIVES DANNY A WILDERNESS PATCH BECAUSE HE EARNED IT. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EPISODE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Steve: I'm going to teach these girls how to kill and gut a pig tonight, Danny.
Danny: That's actually a horror film.

*screaming* I can't even handle how wonderful this episode was. CANNOT. It's basically all I've ever wanted since I started watching the show - Danny being long-suffering about Steve's special brand of intensity, Steve wanting to make sure the girls could ~survive in the wilderness~, the team being fiercely protective of each other, the girls all being super smart and brave and resourceful. Just. UGH. SO GOOD. I LOVE THEM ALL.

:D :D :D :D :D

Continuing to have lots of feelings about the following: Community (ABED), North and South, The Hobbit, a theoretical fic where Erica asks Lydia out on a date, Dylan O'Brien and those stupid fucking glasses he wears in The Internship, and Richard Armitage (ugh, that recording of him reading T.S. Eliot is TERRIBLE and I listened to it way too many times today).

In other news: tomorrow's surprise party for my brother's 40th was cancelled on account of snow. :\ The T is completely shut down, so it's not like I would've been able to get to South Station for my train anyway, but I was really looking forward to seeing my babies. And celebrating John's birthday, I guess, but mostly the babies. I was able to cancel my tickets and get a voucher for the amount of the round trip to New Haven, so I'll just schedule a weekend to go down there and hang with John, Jen, and Evan.

I think it might be time for hot chocolate. Yes.
brilligspoons: (tea time with reid)
Blegh. What a world.

Meme time!

How this works: Comment with your favorite color and I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better. Update your journal with the answers to the questions. Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

[livejournal.com profile] lilithnaamah gave me these!

1. What are two things on your bucket list?

I have skydiving on there for some reason. Also, I'd like to visit all of the states I haven't already. I've been to 19 (+1 for D.C., so 20, I guess) so far. Maybe next time I own a car I'll do some road trips.

2. What were your favorite books you've read in the past year?

The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, Etiquette & Espionage, and Timeless. The Weird Sisters was okay, too. I didn't read that much last year, unfortunately, and a lot of what I did read wasn't that great. /shrug

3. If you could quit your job tomorrow and not worry about money, what would you do?

At first I would just sleep a lot, and then I'd move on to reading everything I've been meaning to for the last few years. Once I got bored with that, I'd probably start traveling as much as I could and spend a lot of time in places with beaches and tropical weather and fruity alcoholic drinks. Also I'd play more video games. And maybe write more.

4. You're so into the various comic fandoms nowadays. I can only sit back and watch with curiosity, and no understanding. What's your favorite fandom now and why?

Oh god, there are so MANY fandoms I'm involved with at the moment, I don't even know where to begin. I'm only nominally in comics fandom right now for reasons (one of which being certain people who drive me up a fucking wall, but whatever), and most of the others I'm in are TV- or movie-based. I guess my favorite fandom is Teen Wolf? Like, the show is a hot mess 98% of the time, and I really question whether all of us are actually watching the same material, but there's been some amazing fannish output in the last six months. Also I just really love werewolves.

(I've been reading a lot of Hobbit fic lately, though. It's movie fever, I can't help it.)

5. In case of the zombie apocalypse, what are your must have supplies?

Generators. Tall barbed wire fences. Canned and dried foods and bottled water. Books. Guns and bullets and machetes (and maybe an axe or two).
brilligspoons: (irene)
I'm very, very tired, friends. Also procrastinating/bored, so here's a meme that I'm stealing from people on my friends list:

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's Parker ...she likes money and cereal." Then post this in your own journal [only if you feel inclined]. In return, ask me anything you'd like to know about me and I'll give you an answer.

Tell me things! Ask me questions! Help me avoid working on all of my projects and thinking about how tired I am!
brilligspoons: (fffuuuuuuuu)
I NEED A DO-OVER FOR TODAY. ACTUALLY FOR MY WHOLE LIFE. AAAHHHHHHH. But whatever, let's ignore the problem for now.

Last night [livejournal.com profile] metonymy and I saw The Hobbit together (my third time! I am probably going to see it again on Friday! Look, I need to see it at least five times, because that's how many times I saw the other LOTR movies in theaters). I have a lot of dwarf-related feelings. Uh, mostly that they're a bunch of endearingly idiotic people, but also about them wanting to reclaim their home and no one being willing to help them except this totally unimportant hobbit who didn't even want to go in the first place. I may have spent a lot of time rocking back and forth in bed last night over this.

So, you know. In addition to work being all weird today, I'm getting beaten with the feelings stick. Pretty sure my feel-o-meter is at a solid 9, at least.

And I'm still poking at the coffee shop AU because of reasons.

Bilbo is reluctantly fond of Fili and Kili. Goddamnit. )

Hmph.
brilligspoons: (TWO.WORDS.)
I Saw Three Ships reveals went up today! Was pleasantly surprised and happy to find out that [livejournal.com profile] metonymy was the one who wrote my gift (which you can read here). :D :D :D And I wrote Between Everything, Yourself, and Home, which was my first (and probably last XD) foray into Revenge fandom. I mean, I liked writing the story and am satisfied with the finished product, but it's not one of those fandoms that I'm super into beyond the show, so. Oh well. It was cool! I would totally consider doing this exchange again next year! More threesomes always!

[livejournal.com profile] bigbang_mixup signups start on Tuesday! Am signing up to do both mixing and writing again, but someone needs to take my internet away if I even think about taking on two stories this time around. It ended up being okay last year, but I'd rather not attempt that a second time. I will do two mixes, though. I have fandoms picked out for each already (ahahahaha oops), and a character focus for one, so I think I'm in a good place with those.

Tomorrow's Monday. Blegh.
brilligspoons: (time-traveling nazis)
Apparently reccing fics is what I do these days. To be fair, there are so many exchanges and challenges posting/revealing right now, it's kind of hard not to shove links in people's faces, you know? So whatever, I'm sure none of you are actually complaining.

I Saw Three Ships (the threesomes/moresomes anon exchange on DW) posted late Sunday night! The mystery writer who had me wrote an empty hourglass in the sand (Natasha/Coulson/Clint), and it's very pretty. Reveals are going up on the 13th, but if you've spent any time around me, or if you've read my f-locked entries over the last few weeks, I think the one I wrote is pretty obvious. >.> ANYWAY, another 3 Ships fic I really enjoyed was Heard You Fuck through the Wall (Lydia/Peter/Stiles). It's WEIRD and DARK and totally awesome, and I really love the author's style.

I made some other recommendations on Twitter yesterday. There are two Steve/Peggy/Bucky fics that I am 99% sure will interest some people 'round these parts. There's a bunch of other Avengers moresomes - Clint/Darcy/Steve, Tony/Bruce/Pepper/Betty, Luke/Jessica/Danny/Misty, to name a few - and some Doctor Who, Leverage, Sherlock Holmes, Stargate SG-1, Haven, and Luther as well. I haven't read any of these, but I make good mention in case you're interested, friends. It's worth a look-through if you're hard up for fic at the moment.

And here's a mini Teen Wolf reclist:

*You Are Here (Lydia & Stiles gen) [When they cross the boundary into Hale territory, Stiles shifts a little in his sleep, shoulders hunching. Lydia's immunity carries over into most of the supernatural world: she can't be bitten, she can't be poisoned, and she's never been able to do magic on her own. Unlike Stiles, she can't feel the veil that separates Beacon Hills from the rest of the world. Sometimes she wonders if what happened before they left would have turned out differently if she'd undergone some transformative alchemy, but usually she tries not to think about it at all.]

*Some Like It Hot (Stiles/Derek) [All Stiles wants is a night out with the girls but when Derek shows up, things go topsy-turvy very quickly, and he gets far more than he expected.]

*Best Laid Plans (Danny/Stiles) ["You want us to be fuck-buddies so I can get some rebound sex and you can get some experience with a guy?" Danny repeated slowly.]

*set all your regrets on fire (Peter/Stiles) [I’m going to die, Stiles thinks, remembering the last time he saw Peter Hale standing over the trunk of a car. I’m going to die, and no one will make my father eat his vegetables, and he’ll die of a heart attack before they even find my body. // Peter kidnaps Stiles. Meanwhile, a series of gruesome murders has the Argents and Derek’s pack working together.]

In other news, I watched a show about colossal squids last night. It freaked me out a bit - apparently squid eyes scare the fuck out of me! who knew! But not as much as the next episode I watched, which was about humboldt squids expanding their territory for no discernible reason and being pack-hunters and how they're going to eventually rise up out of the ocean and eat all of us.

Remind me never to watch nature shows about squids ever again. :(
brilligspoons: (lydia)
[livejournal.com profile] tw_holidays reveals went up this morning! And now that they have, I can actually post about the stories I wrote for it. I've been DYING to do so since posting started on 12/1 - I thought today would never come.

ANYWAY. Links below go to AO3.

1) Leaving Out the Whistles and Bells for [livejournal.com profile] oldsmobile_98 (Derek/Stiles, sex pollen...sort of)

2) A Little Bit Farther Off the Ground for [livejournal.com profile] mosca (Danny/Stiles, spaceship AU!)

3) Are You Satisfied (With an Easy Ride) for [livejournal.com profile] espressopotluck (mostly Lydia gen with background Lydia/Jackson, Lydia/Erica, and Derek/Stiles)

And [livejournal.com profile] geegollywiz13 wrote Laced in Pink for me! It's Lydia/Stiles/Derek with bonus crossdressing!

\o/
brilligspoons: (macbeth got screwed)
Ahhh, there goes 2012. Kind of feels like the year flew by - what did I even do? Who the fuck knows.

Actually I wrote a lot. I did my final checkin for GYWO a little while ago, and I managed to write 116,545 words this year, which. That's huge, for me, regardless of the fact that I didn't make the pledge total. Whatever, I'm super pleased with myself right now. Oh, and for shits and giggles I checked my 2012 stats on AO3, and apparently I posted 58,258 words. WEIRD. It's like I don't even know myself anymore. :D!

I pledged 150k again for 2013, but I'm making my personal (much more realistic) goal to write 10k per month. I think this will work out nicely. And speaking of GYWO...

GetYourWordsOut: One Last Time (Probably)!
Pledges & Requirements | GYWO.net

It's possibly the last year [livejournal.com profile] theemdash and her cohort are running this, so if any of you need the extra encouragement (or whatever), think about pledging!

In other 2013 resolutions news: man, I really suck at reading. Even my unread comics pile is giving me nightmares right now. In the interest of not sucking anymore (and because I have SO MANY NOVELS I want to read and reread), I've decided that my monthly reading goal for the year will be two new-to-me books and one old-to-me book. I'm capable of more, but my brain WILL rebel if I try to force more on it right off the bat. Stupid attention span, nobody asked you. Anyway, I'm going to reread The Hobbit (shhhh) in January, and I also have Liar (Justine Larbalestier) to read. Any suggestions for another new-to-me book, friends?

I'm not even going to pretend to make other resolutions. :D

Spending the rest of the day reading fic, and then the evening with [livejournal.com profile] mcwonthelottery and [livejournal.com profile] metonymy! Happy New Year! <3
brilligspoons: (mst3k: revolutionary war)
As I said on Twitter yesterday, I could write a post about The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, but my feelings can be summed up by saying: I really love Middle Earth, you guys. I loved it when I was very small and watching the animated movies; I loved it when I was in middle school and reading the books for the first time; I loved it in high school when the first trilogy came out; I love it even more now. The movie was great, I cannot fucking wait for next winter, and. Yeah. Hobbits and dwarves, friends. <3

Anyway. I really should be cleaning my room and doing laundry, but in the spirit of avoidance, I think I'll post another Teen Wolf reclist.

---

*Show Me The Way Back Home Baby (Stiles/Derek) [In which Lydia and Jackson produce the world's cutest baby, and the pack goes crazy-- the good kind of crazy. Except for Derek, who is afraid of tiny cute babies and Stiles who plans to be the best Uncle ever. Even if Danny called dibs on Godfather.]

*Not Just a Victim (Of Your Carnivorous Lunar Activities) (Stiles/Danny) [In which Danny might have a small, make that infintismal crush on Stiles, Jackson gets outted as a werewolf, and Danny knows his life will never be the same.]

*An Algorithm for Mistakes (Lydia/Stiles) [Lydia has a plan: attend college, study the biological makeup of werewolves, win prizes, and wear amazing shoes. She does not expect to make friends with Stiles. Or flirt with Stiles. Or accidentally start a pack war with Stiles. Whatever. The point is, Lydia has a plan.]

*Then You Think Again (Stiles/Derek) [Derek says, "You reeked of me," which is unfair.  Stiles only smelled because he'd gotten covered in Derek's bodily fluids trying to staunch the bleeding.]

*Winter of the Fall (Stiles/Derek) [Of course it couldn't be an ordinary cold snap. Of course there was something supernatural to it. That was just how things worked in Beacon Hills. (or five times Stiles was cold and one time he wasn’t.)]

*White Lace (Boyd/Stiles) [He’s only wearing the panties. Erica had bought them for him as a joke – he’d once drunkenly mumbled about the wonders of lace – but the moment he’d seen them? He’d wanted to wear them.]

*Of Secrets and Confessions (Stiles/Danny) [Strange things are happening in Beacon Hills, but Danny refuses to let his brain go to Buffy-esque places, because he believes in science and reasonable explanations. When his friends are ready, they will tell him what's going on with them, he knows that. Meanwhile, he realizes that Stiles might be more than meets the eye as they start to become friends.]

*he pushed inside and made me new (Lydia/Stiles) ["I love Jackson," she says as soon as she's close enough that she doesn't have to raise her voice.
"Okay?" Stiles glances left to right, like her meaning is crouched in the darkness somewhere. "I love Taco Tuesdays. Back to you."]

*Cause of Death (Stiles/Derek) [It turns out that although Stiles may be the one who’s been caught wearing panties, he isn’t the only one with an awkward boner, and that makes him feel a whole lot better about this situation.]

*into that secret place where no one dares to go (Lydia/Stiles/Derek) [The first time he felt Lydia's soul, it felt like a sneeze.]

*can't be hateful, gotta be grateful (Stiles/Derek) ["Be cool, Dad, we've decided to con Grandma." (Or, the one where the Stilinski men drag Derek to Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's and she gets the right wrong idea.)]

*Catalysis (Danny/Stiles) [The one where Stiles's grandmother comes to town, Danny agrees to be Stiles's fake boyfriend, Scott is annoyingly insightful, and there are vampires.]

*weak knees and sweaty palms (Danny/Stiles) [Stiles' first date.]

*Hunting the Snark (pack) [The author's summary for this fic makes it sound like a comedy - it's not one, really. Basically the pack seduces Derek, who is a feelings failboat.]

*hooked on (dangling by a yarn) (Stiles/Derek, pre-relationship) [One hundred days, ten scarves, one Christmas, and Stiles' dormant magic has to ruin everything.]

*California Golden Bears (Allison/Stiles, Allison/Scott/Stiles) [Allison has a typical first semester of college. She's just got to balance classes, extracurriculars, only having one boyfriend, and the occasional supernatural creature. She's got this.]

*things that fly, but cannot land (Allison/Lydia/Stiles) [If Allison has to explain to one more person that she is not dating her ex-boyfriend’s best friend (and really, she broke up with Scott so long ago that the ‘ex-boyfriend’ part has mostly dropped off that title) she is going to explode. Especially now that Stiles has a girlfriend of his own, a girlfriend Allison is definitely not attracted to. Or jealous of. Danny has no idea what he’s talking about, except for the fact that he actually kind of does. (or, the one where Allison writes about werewolves, Stiles is her roommate and everyone is in love with Lydia.)]

*we're catching bullets in our teeth (it's hard to do but they're so sweet) (Stiles/Derek) [Mr & Mrs Smith AU - Stiles says he's a Web Developer. Derek says he an Internal Auditor. They're both liars, but you can't exactly tell your significant other that you kill people for a living, now can you?]

*Practically Perfect (Stiles/Derek) [They pad back up the stairs, and Stiles looks at the paper. In crayon, it reads: WE NEED A NANNY PROBALLY. Reqirments:

- eyes light up

- wants to go places

- can travel between dimentions

- likes cheesebergers

- a wear wolf

- lisens to good music

- SUPER STRONG

- favorit color is pink

- has friends who can fly

- will merry our Dad
There is a stick figure drawing of a werewolf with red eyes and bared teeth, marrying Stiles on a cloud.]

Attempting not to get TOO excited for the new Trek movie, but the teaser trailer that came out sometime in the last few hours is making that REALLY FUCKING HARD. Because, well. *flail* Bendis linked to the Japanese version on his twitter that has a few extra seconds of footage (linking there since I can't open YouTube at work). I watched it, like, five times while I was sitting in Starbucks - really would like for it to be May now, please and thank you.

And, man, I don't know what's up with the black, cowl-y uniforms everyone was wearing, but I'm totally in favor. o___o
