Date: 2011-10-06 02:09 pm (UTC)I think my favorite male character is PRETTY OBVIOUS - Spencer Reid - and my favorite female character is definitely Prentiss. I mean, I sort of love all the main characters equally? They're just ridiculously well-written as a whole. But yeah, Reid and Prentiss are <3333.

ALL OF THEM. Okay, okay - the scene where Reid talks the kid down in "Elephant's Memory" is one of my favorites, and I LOVE watching the end of "Coda" where Prentiss is walking around her apartment checking everything while on the phone with Reid (you should be sensing a theme here). I am also ridiculously in love with several scenes from last week's episode "Proof" for, uh, several reasons. :D? I probably have a million others, but those stand out to me right now.

Uhhh, CM is weird for me in that while I would read Hotch/Reid and/or Morgan/Reid in a heartbeat, I prefer the team being written as a really tight-knit family unit? I'm also very much in favor of the canon pairings.
Unpopular opinion
I...don't know enough of the opinions surrounding CM to know if I have any unpopular ones. Except for maybe my appreciation of canon het pairings. Those don't seem to appear very often in the fandom, which is very unfortunate.

Can I just list my favorite episodes? Because in that case it'd be the entirety of "Urgo," "Window of Opportunity," "Upgrades," and "Moebius Pts. 1 & 2." Also "Crystal Skull."

I REALLY HATE SEASONS 9 AND 10 AS A WHOLE. Like, there are a couple episodes that are okay ("200" comes to mind), but my opinion is that 9 and 10 killed the show and were generally awful.

HAH! Um. I can't stand to hear or read or see anything related to the series anymore. I hated the last couple books and the movies so much that all I feel for it now is bitter hatred. I realize that I'm in the very tiny minority here, so I try not to go off on it too often.

Favorite male character is probably the Master (I mean, okay, the Doctor, but he's sort of the reason you watch the show, so he's an automatic favorite).

The end of "The Doctor Dances" where Jack is brought into the Tardis and Nine and Rose are dancing together! I also love love love the whole of "The Stolen Earth"/"Journey's End," and also "Blink." :DDD

It's REALLY hard to pick a favorite female character because I love all of them, so I'm going to go with my favorite to write, which would be Emma. Though Raven is a CLOSE second. Favorite male character is Erik, simply by virtue of being better developed than Alex, Darwin, Hank, and Sean, and personally he's easier to relate to than Charles.

Okay, there's this scene in Avengers Prime where Tony's been stripped naked by some ogres or something, and Steve rides in to save him! And then Steve asks him why he's naked, and Tony's all, "It's my new armor! Don't you like it?" Or something like that. Anyway, I fucking love their faces.

This is more a pet peeve than an unpopular opinion, but I'm really weird about the way people characterize Steve. Basically a lot of fic writers have WRONG OPINIONS about him, and it drives me nuts. (Same with Tony, really.)
