I've written more words (and with more frequency) in 2011 than I have since college, and I very much feel like I need to keep up the momentum. Hopefully this will be enough incentive/encouragement to work with? :D? Anyway, I pledged 150k words, which theemdash tells me is a little over 400 words a day. Not too bad! And considering the fact that I will be writing 2 smaller Big Bangs early in the year, I think I'll be okay. We'll see.

Office Christmas is today! We have some new additions to Team Jerk, in that pocky_slash got me the Cap plushie, and I got her the Hulk plushie. Office Avengers will have plenty of adventures in the future, I'm sure (at least once Tony and Steve get back from their honeymoon on my shelf). ALSO ALSO ALSO. IN CASE THERE WAS ANY DOUBT THAT I HAVE THE BEST BOSS. Doug got me the Stark logo mug that Tony has in the Iron Man movies! IT IS THE GREATEST. I actually gave him a hug, that is how excited I am by this thing. :DDD

Mostly I'll be spending time with my family, Tristan and Ashley, and Loretta and Jay, plus attempting to work on the BBMUs in whatever free time I can dredge up (rough drafts are due on the 10th omg), but I'm too codependent on the internet to be far from it for very long.

I think it is actually 411 words per day (or this year, 410). So easy! So simple!

Pretty much! And with any luck, that'll get me into the habit of writing non-LJ things every day. Weeeee, writing!

I really do need to see about making daily writing happen. I'm pretty good about weekly writing (except in July), but daily has eluded me.

Lately I've been better about intending to write daily - as in, I at least open one or two gdocs with the intent of either adding more words or editing. Being around Kait all the time has helped a little in that department since she's constantly writing. It's actually doing it when I've got work-work going on that's hard. Weekends are worse because I'm either running around or desperately in need of video game therapy. XD
